Are we really more than a bunch of apes? I can't tell at the moment, because we constantly keep dissing and killing each others way of living on a global scale. Is this really what we've aimed for?
For those who did not notice yet, there is no absolute religion, way-of-living, system-of-rule (nope folks, not even democracy is the right choice after all) or whatsoever bullshit. The difference between you and your neighbor is what is making this world so interesting.
Dealing with this differences and alternatives, learning from them and COPING with them, is what we have to learn to survive the next 10000 Years. I know in some cultures this way of thinking is already a crucial value, because those cultures learned theres no other way. Look deep inside yourself, would YOU change your ways, just because someone else holds a gun to your head and wants you to be like him? I don't think so!
On the other hand this does not mean all ways are good for the people on this earth. But if you go along with Rule 1 (Do not touch another's way) most of todays problems would be solved.
Sure, if everyone could behave the way he wants to, we would have some kind of anarchy, thats not good either, because in this state, there's no security for anyone of us. But I'm not talking about doing what someone likes. I'm talking about doing what is good for himself and his environment, this includes not stepping onto another's chosen path.
There's a saying what does describe it best (i know it only in german): "Was du nicht willst, das man dir tu, das füg auch keinem anderen zu", meaning: those things you don't want to experience, you should not inflict to others. Its really simple, we learned that in the Kindergarten!
I know its not that simple in the global theater anymore. We have had 2000 years of religious and political diversity and fighting. But most of those ideas are preaching PEACE in the first thought. So why do they think they can achieve peace through another act of violence? Its just ironic seeing people killing each other for peace. Why don't they just have it?
"Just think there is war, and nobody will come" ... that's what i want to see one time!!! Because politicians do not wield the real power. The power comes from the people! If the people would decide not to listen to such a few weak minded, power-obsessed liars there would be no war. There wouldn't be any atrocities, such as religious genocides or wars on terror. There would be no terror if someone else would not try to suppress others! People are not BAD from the beginning, they're driven into such ways by those who think they can change the world by force.
There's after all only one truth: We are all humans, nothing will help us, but ourselves to survive and we can only do it together!
